Junius “Jay” Johnson is the Regulatory Compliance Manager for Saf-T-Pak, an Inmark Company. Jay is an expert in transportation regulations (including certification as a Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor in Great Britain) where his niche is packaging solutions for the chemical and life science industries. As presenter, trainer, and writer on issues pertaining to the transport of hazardous material, Jay is a globally recognized speaker on the topic of infectious substance transportation with 25 years of practical experience shipping, transporting and packaging dangerous goods. He is a Past Chairman of the Dangerous Goods Advisory Council (DGAC) and is head of their delegation to the UN Sub-Committee of Experts on the Transport of Dangerous Goods.

National and international regulations dictate that any individuals involved in the transport of hazardous materials must be trained, tested, certified and must also retain a record of their training. Certification is achieved when an individual demonstrates their knowledge and understanding of the regulations.
